Italian food channel calls roti Balloon Bread. Desi Twitter is speechless

A picture has gone viral in which our desi roti is being called a balloon bread. The cooking instructions have also been given in which the flour is mixed with dry yeast to help puff the bread up. The internet definitely can’t keep calm.

Balloon bread resembling roti has gone viral online.

Indian food is definitely one of the most delicious cuisines in the world and there is no doubt about that. It is world renowned for its diversity, flavours and creativity. A lot of people take cues from Indian food while cooking a flavourful curry or any sort of chicken or meat dish. Our types of bread are famous too. So, when a picture of our beloved desi roti being called a “balloon bread” went viral on social media, netizens obviously couldn’t keep calm.

In the viral picture, which is a snippet from an Italian food channel called Cookist, roti is being described as balloon bread. Instructions are written with the ingredients and the bread does resemble our desi roti.

“Just mix flour, warm water, warm milk, oil and dry yeast. The result will leave you speechless,” read the post.
